As an Alum I remember Watching Rick Mount Drop shots from almost anywhere he wanted was a Close 2nd to Pete Maravich. Most here won't remember them as they are too Young but it was something to watch back in the day. Not like those that throw up 3's from anywhere today as back then they played DEFENCE today is just sandlot ball. Just my humble opinion.

I got lucky but hey if you watch Purdue so far you know they struggle from the charity stripe. Of course they blew the cover at the line but I've been on the wrong side of that many times so I'll take it here.

Pressure really came on them, was glad to see it. I've been destroying the market on closing line margin recently.

I disagree on not having a shot clock. Teams used to hold the ball forever when there was no shot clock. Cincinnati played Kentucky once in 1983 and the final score was 24-11. Nobody wants to see that so a shot clock was necessary. As for the 3 point shot it changed it from being a big mans game to a guards game which is why long term I like this Marquette team better than Purdue although Purdue is very good no doubt about it.
