if the yankees keep collapsing and the mariners win the division, i wonder what happens
It always helps in the voting for MVP to be on the best (better) team when the voting may be close. I think some use it like a tie-breaker when stats are similar. They say, "Well, XYZ player not only did well but raised the play of his teammates." That kind of stuff.

of course i love judge and he still has good numbers (though homeruns/rbis have slowed down, esp with DL stint). i just feel like if raleigh has really good numbers, esp for a catcher, and the yankees miss the playoffs that judge might not win.

This mvp race will come down to the final week. Some dude in seattle is holding a c.raleigh 350-1 ticket paying out large

that is the story I'm looking forward to hearing about

Cal is gonna win the MVP mark my words
i am not being a judge guy when i say this but i think it is very hard for him to lose. the only way i said it could happen is if the yankees miss the playoffs and that will probably not happen at this point. judge just dominates everything and he still has 48 home runs without hitting another all season. raleigh has 56 and might break the record but it is not a home run contest.

don't forget, sosa won mvp over mcgwire in 1998 though mcgwire hit 70 and had the record. sosa made the playoffs and had a higher avg and more rbis which were the key metrics then. now obp, slugging and ops are the trend and judge is higher.
