It's always a hot topic, especially given high rates now.

NY borrowing $850M (bonds) at basically 40 year high rate to build a stadium in Buffalo...not NYC, that's going to get used in a profitable way, about 10 times a year, to allow billionaire owners & millionaire players to earn a living, whilst none of them live in New York.

Basically, publicly funded stadiums are why player contracts are so ridiculous & the cost of a game is unaffordable for most families, it enables the gap to widen between the haves and the have nots..

Imagine if NY put $850m into tax relief???

But, if Buffalo were to relocate, it'd be a huge hit to economy there.

how many of the NY taxpayers don't give a shit about football though.

if your state decided to put 850 million into some hair stylist competion arena, you might think it a waste. there are many hard workers that view sports as fairly frivolous.

Always note who is making the statements. When a guy who's team can't even make the playoffs, spends endless hours trashing a winning team like the Bills , you know it's all deflection. 5 straight division titles and counting.

For me it's just amusing. At the very least , your team should make the playoffs to have any real productive comments to add. Guys who support teams like Da Raiders and Da Bungals are irrelevant to the conversation imo

Bills have been SB favorites in each of the last 5 years at some point and haven’t even made it

0-4 against the Chiefs in the playoffs

Beat up on a bad division every year and get exposed in playoffs every single year

That’s not even factoring in that Bengals are 2-0 against Bills during all of this. Would be 3-0 if not for Hamlin.

And that’s including Bengals blowing out the Bills in Buffalo in a playoff game. Maybe they need a new stadium to try and erase all the bad memories

Yep . Frankly if you take away raw physical traits it’s not really close. Allen is a great player but doesn’t have Burrow’s accuracy or intellect . Burrow does have better weapons but also a way worse offensive line

Spags even said so about Burrow in that Netflix series and he’d know better than pretty much anyone
