How in the world are they going to set up an MLB field at a NASCAR track? The logistics alone do not make any sense. I mean I guess they could set it up in the infield somehow?

I was at that race. 2004
Was boring as hell becuase Jr led 50% of the laps and damn near lapped the field.

But, we had fun.

Braves-Reds at Bristol

Because who wouldn’t enjoy going to a giant stadium and sitting miles away from the field to watch a baseball game between 2 teams from 300+ miles away ?

I mean - I get holding a Tennessee football game there for example - but baseball ?!? What’s the selling point other than marketing?

I’d much rather see games played at smaller - historically significant ballparks or location over a race track?

There’s a reason they don’t race cars in Wrigley and it’s the same reason why baseball at a track is a dumb idea. Baseball is about an intimate setting where fans are inches from the action and players can hear the drunk screaming at them from the top row of the bleachers. Good luck recreating that at Bristol.
