The director of The Human Centipede has finished his latest movie but fears it won't be released due to its extreme content.
If the director of The Human Centipede thinks a film is a bit too much, then it probably is.
Filmmaker Tom Six, notorious for making shockingly grotesque movies, has once again pushed the boundaries of horror cinema with his latest film, The Onania Club, per the Metro.
Completed in 2020, the movie's content is so extreme that Six doubts it will ever see the light of day.

While the trailer for The Onania Club has gained attention and even boasts a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from early critics, fans are skeptical about its release.
The film delves into a taboo premise, focusing on a group of women who derive sexual pleasure from the pain and suffering of others.
In the trailer, protagonist Hanna, portrayed by Jessica Morris, grapples with a 'terrible secret' before joining the titular club.
Comprised of empowered women in Los Angeles, the club members find arousal in witnessing human misery, from tragic accidents to global catastrophes like 9/11.
One particularly shocking scene depicts the women deriving pleasure from the suffering of a dying cancer patient.

Despite critical acclaim and endorsements from fellow filmmakers like John Waters, Six has struggled to find a distributor willing to release the film.
Refusing self-production, Six laments the lack of "vision and balls" in the industry to handle his controversial work, per Hollywood in Toto.
Fans have expressed frustration over the film's uncertain fate, with many hoping for a future release. Despite the anticipation, the film remains in limbo.
Writing under the trailer, one fan said: "I know films like this aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but there has been some pretty gross s*** released in cinema history so this is either the most f***ed up movie ever made or they just don’t want to be associated with 'The Human Centipede guy'".

A second person said: "We need more of these 'think outside of the box' films in the industry. Everything is so safe nowadays."
While a third added: "I'm waiting for this movie. I love different perspectives in cinema. Nowadays, it's all about copy-paste Netflix movies and garbage superhero movies..."
While the movie is clearly controversial and would be pretty difficult to watch, it seems like there is an audience for it.
Would you watch it?
