not only did I get to go to the game tonight (rooted for Houston entire time not knowing Florida win would win me $700) but logged on to shockingly see where I finished in the standings

Its crazy. No matter how well you do in early rounds, you have to nail the champion to finish in the money.

Thanks BMR and Bet105 for a great contest. I'm happy to finish 10th and win some money. Funny thing is I was hoping Houston won but that outcome wouldn't have won me any money other than my ml bet. Florida winning over Houston was the best outcome for me since i had that in my bracket and stood to win money in the contest if it came through.
