I wish I seen this article last night before I put in my picks. My picks would be completely different. I knew they changed up the track but didn't realize they made it more like a Daytona/Talladega with more clusters of cars with the draft. My drivers would look a little different but with Talladega still on our list I wouldn't have used those guys necessarily. So many unknowns with this one. It should be a fvcking mess. If you haven't made your selections yet that read before making your picks. Scrub city for me and went by the practice times. Burton failed inspections and was moved to the back. He was the fastest scrub I believe.

Nice scrub picks Mike. David Ragan was a good one having Daytona and Talladega wins in his career. Quite a few have him. I see most went with the scrub strategy which is the way to go this week. Most of the odds to win are over 900 which tells you all you need to know. I do think a Logano/Kyle combo is the most dangerous if they stay out of trouble. gL!!

I hate these "Super Speedway" races. One lame blown tire and half the field gone. I avoid betting on match-ups with them. I think it is boring racing seeing a guy go from 1st to 20 th because he tried to make a move. Just turn on the last minute and hope your driver wasn't in the multiple "big ones"

I am going to "steal" some valuable spots with scrubs. Hint, always take the scrubs in these races or when the books have no clear cut winner and all have big odds.

Do they still bring in those road course ringers for those races?
Yes they do and I screwed myself. The one guy you want is #16 AJ Almendinger. There are at least 3 drivers though that drive the same car#16 during the year. I purposely save AJ for the road course as a am sure others did but can't use him since I already used Hemrick driving that car. So pissed. This error might cost me $$ in the year end. I had him listed in my picks and as I was reasdy to hit submit I noticed I had two #16s on my list. So important to check drivers and numbers multiple times before submitting.

Man like you said. Remodeled track crazy odds no clear thoughts on a winner plus no practice. Give me the longshots!! But thankfully we got more info for this week
