Exactly - just like the US Govt is taking something they “minted” at virtually no cost and trading it for an asset of value (BTC) for their strategic reserve - it feels like Trump via his companies has done the same partnering to create a meme coin and then pushing it trading them for BTC - which he coincidentally keeps hinting he will favor in his administration.

I’m less certain about holding crypto now than I have been in a while - it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Might be the time to buy some of the ETFs and start trading calls and puts to profit from the trend.

Everyone knows I like XRP.

But here's a list and if @raiders72001 and others would toss out some opinions, I would love to hear them.

XDC
XLM
ADA
HBAR

Planning to accumulate these at hopefully technical buy points, but we'll see if I can enter where I want. I will enter no matter what, unless someone points out large red flags, but trying to be strategic about my buys.

Thoughts?
Some good ones there. Eric Trump stated last month that HBAR, ADA, ALGO and XRP will be exempt from taxation. Trump may do this for all cryptos that are registered entities in the US.

Hey raiders, and everyone else in the thread.

Looking to revive this thread a bit.

I am expanding some of my crypto investments and research. Planning to mostly buy and hold. If I had taken a small piece of every coin and saved it for every time I moved money with crypto, I'd be filthy fukkin rich already.

So now I'm going to start socking more of it away, and trading some.

I know this thread has some valuable resources among the last 60 pages but if you, and everyone else, could post a few of your daily research links, markets summary links, and maybe decent news sources I would appreciate it.

What's the first thing you guys look at when checking the crypto markets, exchanges, etc.? What's the best current wallet you guys are using?

I'm not trying to join a bunch of Forums, this one is fine, but do you get some info from Forums, or youtube crypto experts, etc? Let's hear it, let's get our resources out here.

I'll add resources too, I'm just trying to get them all listed in one place, like this thread.

In the process of moving money to eventually be in more crypto.

KYC exchanges in no particular order
1. Kraken
2. Crypto.com
3. Coinbase is good although I'm banned

No KYC exchanges
1. WEEX
2. BYDFI

Wallets
1. Ledger
2. Trezor

Wallets to use a DEX
1. Phantom - my favorite because of the free airdrops and I have a lot of Solana tokens
2. Metamask

Sportsbook
Bitcoin-Betting - DeFi book, no KYC, Pinny lines.

Good stuff @raiders72001

Thanks for coming around, I appreciate it. I will be contributing to this thread and hopefully we all get something out of it.

Time to start really socking things away.

It's pretty clear, and really has been for almost ever, that these blue chips are not going to zero.

There will be some pumps and some dumps, but the stock market isn't much different. If you're in a solid company, think long term and if your're right, it will pay off.

Is anybody in any coins that pay you any interest or some type of dividend?

I know there were ways to earn by owning with some potential coins but I'm not sure any of that really worked out.

I may also dig into the regulated ETFs and see if we can arb or carry or do anything with relative movement and lesser risk.

We'll see how that looks down the road.

Isn't it concluded now that BTN is basically tied to the general monetary supply? If that's 'reduced' by 15% of the next 5 years to fight inflation, than BTN will decline 15% or more, and vice versa?

I still look at it as a 'last buyer' saga, it has no long term staying power, but in the mean time, you can profit on the trade.
