Hardware wallet is best option for large sums. Not connected to anything.

Ace, does your Trezor have the passphrase option to add a layer of security on top of the seed phrases? Also, I've heard on a Trezor you can have hidden wallet. Are you familiar with that and do you use it?
Yes it has a passphrase option and a hidden wallet. I don't use either though.
I just have a pin to get into the Trezor. And a 24-word back up phrase. I cut the 24-word phrase in half and gave it to two trusted friends who don't know each other. Figured that's a pretty safe way to back it up.

Great idea on splitting it up.

If you have a lot, I support Ace's approach but with some important differences. A potential issue with his is that one of his friends could misplace it at some point and Ace might not know about this misplacement until well after the fact. You want to have 2 extra locations where if they are 'compromised' by water/fire/other, you would know quickly. You can use your imagination...

It's a good point. I've explained the importance to both guys and to immediately tell me if they got robbed or some catastrophe happened. They are stored in the guys' safes with other valuables.
And my Trezor is buried deeper than Chester Copperpot and One-eyed Willie. I'm good.

No...I try to keep it simple as possible. I hate to admit this but tried out a new wallet last year, deposited and didn't use until few months later. They needed 12 Word phrase thingy and of course I don't know if I ever created 1 or just lost. Meanwhile BTC had doubled in price. Never recovered it.😡
Not as bad as this guy

Didn't Bobby screw over Brock years ago when Brock gave Bobby money to bet for him in Vegas, but the funds went mysteriously missing in Bobby's home?

Forum detectives pointed towards one of the black children as the culprit.

You’re a Goddamn scumbag liar.

@BobbyFK wtf is he talking about ? I’ve been defending you for years this better not be true.
As best I can recall it I did misplace some money which was later found. If there was any missing I would have owned up to it and would have made it right. Regardless I was still wrote a bad check but it is what it is... I've written it off years ago as a loss and to learn from this
