My perspective lately
I would love holding anything else rather than fiat currency.
I would prefer holding gums or wine or whatever product rathen than dollars or euros.
Fiat Currency:
Pros
It's only super power is that you can exchange it instantly for whatever product/service you want. Everybody within the respective country believes in that.
Cons
It loses its value everyday due to inflation.
Centralized authorities can issue at anytime an amount of money which makes your fiat holdings worth less.
In my eyes, it's good only for transactions not for holding it.
That way I prefer owning stable cryptos - whatever the price is - rather than the shitty dollars/euros.
Cash out each time only a part of assets (cryptos, gold, etc) which you can live with for a short time ahead.
