I always love stories that mix the supernatural with the mundane world. The first few seasons were great but later seasons kind of feminized Lucifer so that he was a pushover. Recent seasons have him back on track.
Yes, it does take some stretch of the imagination but once you get past that, it's entertaining. The Lucifer character is quite hilarious at times and actor Tom Ellis does a good job of portraying him.
Maybe my favorite show ever. Each season is better than the previous, Vic Mackey and the Strike Team. Glenn Close does a season, Anthony Anderson, Forrest Whitaker also. Michael Pena. Great casting and 1000% binge worthy

You will be hooked from the start. It was a series my wife watched alone and I happened to not be working that night and walk in the room right when that song was on. "Holy shit, that is Stand by me." I finally got around to watching it during the start of Covid.
Many say it is the best ever. I tried an episode or 2 but going back to beepers instead of cell phones was tough. On the list but the list is too damn long

I enjoyed The Wire back when binged watched a few years back though it does seem a bit dated nowadays. Beepers wow. It cracks me up watching some of these old shows like Seinfeld using payphones and having no contact sometimes as nobody has cellphones.
Watched an old Adam12 the other day. Cruisers have no seatbelts and they are sweating like pigs(no pun) in a heat wave as no AC apparently. Probably have roll down windows too. I think Hill Street Blues the same too.
