Bettor's Den Red Flags

I made an account at Bettor’s Den last Saturday. I made a $1,000 deposit and took the 75% freeplay bonus. I quickly realized my mistake when after I won my freeplay wager my rollover was $26,000. I guess here it’s deposit + bonus + winnings instead of the normal deposit + bonus or deposit + winnings. I managed to finish my rollover on July 2nd. I did $14,000 in sports wagering action and $12,000 in casino. My current balance is $9,089. I submitted my payout on July 2nd for my balanced and had to pay a $90 fee. I was told payouts take 48 hours. My KYC was completed the same day I submitted the payout. Here’s where I’m growing concerned.



My payout was originally rejected because they claimed I had not completed my rollover. However I responded and they realized they didn’t factor casinos action, they assured me the payout was good to go and apologized for their mistake.



Now I’m being told after being given a time frame that they don’t have a time frame for when I’ll receive payment. I don’t care about waiting, or even if it takes a week to get paid. I don’t like flip flopping and that’s what it looks like. Really disorganized book. The reasons for making this post aren’t because I’m impatient, just to share my red flags.



-Book rejected payout based on their mistake and I the client had to remind them to implement casino action.



-Book went from giving a 24-48h timeframe to now claiming there is no timeframe.



-Charges a 1% fee but doesn’t pay in a timely fashion in my personal opinion.

-Bonus is deposit + winnings + Freeplay amount which is not the normal.

casino action usually doesn't count towards sportsbook bonus rollovers, not sure if there are any books that do this.

Believe it or not, casino action counts towards 100 percent of the rollover. Including live dealer. I've never seen another book do this but it's true. On a side note Arya told me there was a processor issue and that I will be paid by tomorrow morning at the latest.

Always the processor. I had a lower 5 figure balance there and pulled half of it when they took nickel overnights on bases off the table. Curious how this plays out.

100% agree...if you are charging me a fee to pull Crypto, you better be paying very promptly (i.e. Betonline). Definitely feels like some caution is warranted moving forward here.

Update I was paid an hour ago. Now, I did send them this link via live chat and that's when I finally got a timeframe and some information. Before making this post I was given nothing. I also find it strange that they are doing 20 cent lines on baseball and the reduced juice is the only way to get a dime on baseball with a $500 wager max. I did some research and here is what I found.

This deposit + bonus + winnings is a new feature added. This was not there a few weeks ago on their moonshot promo.

Baseball dimelines were a default part of their wagering but was moved to their reduced juice bonus program. Cannot get a dimeline without their reduced juice program.

I'll let you all be the judge of me getting paid hours after this post goes up having anything to do with the timely payout or not. But once I sent the link to this post in live chat, I finally got some answers. They also mentioned the holiday along with their processor. (Payout was submitted Wednesday) Aren't they Costa Rican as well? Why would independence day effect them?

Anyways, what needs to change above all else is this, if you charge a 1% fee on a payout, it should not take more than 24 hours. (Opinion) Think of all the fees we have to pay to buy crypto. They use the same processor as betanysports and they rarely even take 24h. Hopefully this book gets more organized. A client should never have to correct a sportsbook on what their rollover is. There are indeed some warning signs with this book in my opinion - but what OP described isn’t one of them.

The casino RO counting with no reduction (I/e counting at 1/5 the risk amount) is a huge boost to players. Very easy to make a ton of action in a short period of time at low hold playing Pai Gao or Blackjack.

Free play rollover being greater of the win or risk is also very much a norm in today’s environment. Does BD limit the max to under +150 or +200 like most books or do they let you fire away on long shots ? Again - books learned long ago shot takers will kill them scalping +1000 dogs and then have a walkover in their rollover when those plays hit as it basically is a single 1x roll on a 10x roll when those plays hit.

Their processing does seem a bit slow at times - but they have always paid. Their customer service seems spotty - but who isn’t right now. The red flag to me was moving from a nickel overnight and dime line on bases without warning. Restrict the abusers and keep offering to those who bring profitable business would have made much more sense - unless no one is bringing in profitable business and your getting slaughtered.

I like them and think they will be fine this football season - at least as long as the faves dont cover the first 10 weeks solidly again.

I actually quite like this book, and put in a lot of action there the last few months until they went to a 20c line on baseball. Now they never seem to have the best line across my outs.

They are a welcome addition to the offshore market and I suspect they'll be a very popular out this football season, but 10 days is absurd.

I had the same thing happen and they said there was some technical issue where it got stuck or something. So they canceled my original request, had me do a new one and they processed it on the spot

10 days is excessive.

They took 3 on my last payout there - but were very communicative about the delays on their end and apologized.

Definitely check in and let us know - I suspect it’s more a processor issue than the book here. But by the same token - many processor issues can be traced back to the book too.

Yes, I have been in contact with them on live help. On Thursday they told me it would be completed by Sunday July 6.

On Sunday July 6 they told me there's no time frame.

I requested mine on June 30th at 2am & still have not received it. They keep saying it is a processor issue & they are doing them all manually. Basically 15 & counting. They can't give an expected payout date.

It shows last undated in my request as 7/4/2025 2:21:15 PM

Yea - super disappointing to hear.

A solid out for football last year - now no way I’d trust them this season.

Dodged a very big loss - no way I’d want to be sitting with 5 figure balance there right now.

Hopefully they can make this right. With this upcoming offshore “revival” it would be nice to have them as part of the market.

If they can get past these payout problems, I think they’ll have a strong future.
