A friend went into BetNow live chat pretending to be a new customer and asked about licensing and what happens if there’s a dispute. The answers were all over the place:

• First they said Curaçao, then admitted they used to be licensed there but are now under Anjouan (Comoros).
• When asked about player protection, the rep said the only place to complain is OSGA.
• Pressed further, they doubled down: “We have our house rules we follow. If you do not like them do not play with us.”
• Finally, they said they don’t even have the authority to advise what a player can do with complaints.

Bottom line: BetNow staff basically admitted disputes are handled however they see fit, with no meaningful regulator behind them. The only recourse they point players to is OSGA — otherwise you’re stuck with their “house rules.”

For a real sportsbook, I think that a legitimate 6k dispute is NOT worth the PR hassle if they are on the wrong side of it. Wish me luck!

I was sitting on that balance since mid bases, holding for the fall as they didn't have any issues at that point.

I usually am better about cutting balances on an account if I leave them inactive for a couple months...didn't seem like an issue.

I made a withdrawal one week before they stiffed me. They stiffed me because I went 4-0 one day. Account was closed the very next day. If you don't have any rollover I would withdraw your funds without making any more bets; I suspect you will get paid if you do this. If you have rollover then just hope you don't go on a winning streak.

Ferris mentions his problems resulted after they asked to verify his ID, but my ID has been verified for years and they didn't ask me to verify it again. I literally opened my account in 2005.
