BetNow.eu Confiscated Winnings, Reduced My Balance to Deposits Only

Hello BMR community,

I am documenting a serious issue with BetNow.eu and requesting assistance.

Timeline:
  • February 2025 Deposits: Two deposits totaling about $1,500 in February 2025.
  • February-September 2025: My balance slowly grew to approximately $7,686 through sports wagers. I mostly bet sides and totals, and aside from that used the PropBuilder.
  • Sept 13: I received a message from BetNow’s Risk Department stating I had been “betting on line moves.” My account balance was reduced to deposits only (~$1,500).
  • Sept 15: I attempted a withdrawal of both deposits and winnings. The withdrawal for my deposits was processed successfully and received in Bitcoin. The withdrawal for winnings was rejected.
  • Sept 15–16: I received multiple messages via their Troubleshooting system and email. The explanations contradicted each other:
    • Risk messages: my account “will remain closed.”
    • Another message: I may “keep on using the sportsbook.”
    • Email: “account closed” and “Support no longer has access.”
  • Current: I can still log in, but my balance is now near zero and all winnings have been confiscated.

Evidence:
  • Screenshots of my balance before and after (approx $7,686 down to ~$1,500).
  • Account messages citing “line moves.”
  • Email from Support claiming my account was closed.
  • Troubleshooting messages telling me both that my account was closed and that I may continue using the sportsbook.
  • Transaction history showing payout of deposits approved, payout of winnings rejected.
  • Example of a legitimate winning bet (Houston U -4 vs. UTSA, 9/12/25) that was graded a winner and later voided under “line moves.”

My Position:
  • I am not part of a syndicate, I do not use bots, and all wagers were placed personally.
  • BetNow’s explanations are inconsistent and contradictory.
  • Legitimate graded wagers were confiscated without a clear, fair accounting.
Request:
I am asking BetNow to:
  1. Provide a full accounting of which wagers were voided.
  2. Reconsider the confiscation of my winnings and restore my rightful balance.
I have been positive about BetNow.eu in the past, but this situation — confiscating over $6,000 in winnings while offering no consistent explanation — is extremely concerning.

Thank you,
A Concerned Player

I am seeing it more and more that books treat players' winnings as 'house money' that they can just take back if they so choose.
Not liking it one bit...
Agreed.

BetNow.eu had good feedback here at BMR in the past, which is why I felt comfortable depositing in the first place. But unless they do right in situations like this, their reputation will shift permanently into that of a sportsbook where winnings aren’t tolerated — and that’s not a place any player will want to put their money.

End of the day there’s no identity fraud able to be proven at BetNow. Their software requires you to scan your face and ID. The individual has no choice but to know the person and scan them if they are using another account not in their name which technically means they can’t do anything. Unless it was an IP issue which everyone who’s actually good at being in a syndicate avoids. I told you, 1776 is coming for Auggie the redcoat, you need to file the complaint with OSGA. That’s who BetNow cares about the most. Back in the day I name dropped Jim so many times to get additional crypto payouts above the 7k before I got banned.

Thanks for the info, Offshorelore.

I noticed that my email correspondence from BetNow was signed by Oggy Lionhart.

Do you think filing a complaint with OSGA is the best next step, and if so, how exactly do I go about submitting that? That’s different from filing a complaint here at BMR?

Also, you mentioned you used to “name drop Jim” — can you clarify who Jim is and how he might be able to help in a case like mine?

Appreciate the guidance.

Jim owns OSGA. BetNow has osga certified in the bottom of their screen or some shit. Oggy Auggie same thing. I don’t like that dude. But yeah OSGA asap. And there is a number but my advice is writing up a formal email to send to BetNow and tag osga in it. Then formally file the complaint. Sorry this happened to you brother. BetNow is hitting you with that heritage treatment but worse.

Here we go again. Whoever these new owners are, they’re just running a scam now.

BAUS
I’ve spoken highly of them in the past as well. I enjoy their book, the fact they have a nice little poker room, and a casino where I enjoy the Jack or better interface. (Although their new software update sucks and takes away some of the uniqueness of their site - something I’m thinking might coincide with the new ownership??)

Even referred a couple of friends there a little over a year ago.

And received quite a few payouts over the past couple of years (definitely up on them lifetime).

But as a result of this thread I won’t be making any more deposits there .

I would advise against other folks depositing there as well.

OSGA was totally useless in dealing with Jazz Scambook.
That’s because Jazz outright didn’t care about losing their sponsors. BetNow does. Jazz sealed their fate. The owner stole all the money and they couldn’t pay, then they allegedly got bought up by some of the backers of BetUS recently. Nothing osga could do when Jazz didn’t care who knew they robbed everyone

Sorry to say - but the days of forums pressuring a book into doing something ended circa 2011.

These days books realize they can make their own rules and the public outcry isn’t going to stop depositors that they want. The money forums bring in isn’t the profitable kind of bettor a book wants - it’s a different customer entirely.

Books want absolute square money - the kind of fool that deposits $500 for a 100% free play a 15x RO and who has zero chance of making it more than halfway through - then comes back the following Monday and does it all over again. Chases big NFL spreads and 5 team parlays as well as juiced up props on major players in big games.

Forums no longer drive that traffic - there was a day when these guys opened Netscape Navigator- went to Alta Vista and searched “online gambling” and got directed to a forum that fed the books with 1000s of fish a week. Those days are long gone - now forums are a dozen well worked over vets of offshore who know every trick and have lasted gambling 2 decades because they aren’t completely clueless.

Keep fighting - but if they are paying you back something - I’d take it now and then raise the argument - chances are if you reject what they offer first and fight - you will get zero. No one has the ability to force a book to pay and a forum wide boycott will do nothing.
