BetNow Account Under Investigation

I made an account at BetNow.eu on August 6th. I deposited $600. I am currently getting screwed around at this site. I have $2,424. I took a 150% bonus and completed my rollover yesterday. I went to do the payout today and was told my account was under review “due to some activity when the lines were moving.” My wagers were on NFL, MLB, and a couple WNBA spreads. I also did some casino action. They originally said my review will take 48 hours but now I’m being told I will hear from management by 5PM eastern. Very weird and unusual. I’ll give an update when I hear back. Won’t be playing here again.

Not surprised. From the 30 cent MLB lines and charging people half action, to the 100,000 deposit limit via crypto to max crypto payout $7,000 a month. This shop is currently a joke.

Very surprised. Never had a problem with a payout here last 2-3 years and yes I’m definitely up on them lifetime.

I’ve had at least 15 payouts like I said in another thread with no issue.

I know of two other players that have experienced this. One got paid in about 48 hours and the other got paid after about a 10-day wait. I'm not sure what triggers it. Both times betnow never actually addressed whatever the issue was. The money just showed up.

Agree with all this. But they do pay. Just not a shop for someone who wants to bet 5k a game.
Also, 30 cent MLB lines suck, but whoever is supposed to be watching/updating the lines seems to go for a long smoke break from time to time...

Update on the situation. Spoke to a supervisor who wasn't a very good communicator. Gave me no clear reason why this was happening to me. I don't know why they even asked me to call in. Told me I was going to have to wait. I mentioned BMR and he said he would talk to risk management and get me paid tonight. I will provide updates.

I’ve used the - I have thousands and thousands of posts on Sportsbook forums like BMR - to my advantage as well at different places.

wait a few days for them to review it and submit a new payout request. There are exactly 0 reports of them stiffing anyone in the last 2 years. I don't think there is anything to worry about. Probably just new security measures to review people's account history before a payout (when the site changed a few weeks back). They aren't going to risk their reputation on 2400 bucks.

I would just add probably better to wait to go rampage on them on the internet until you know they are actually going to stiff you, most of these books, even the ones with shitty looking web sites, will pay the money you just have to jump thru their hoops and be patient with them.

My preference has been to try and be as polite and helpful as possible for as long as I can (or until I know I am getting screwed, which hasn't happened much *yet*) , and praise them when I am paid, before going scorched earth on them.

exactly. remember there is a bit of a culture difference too. they're more laid back about things (I know it is tough when they are holding your funds), so definitely take the kind and gentle approach. i always got further that way. you'll get paid. they aren't going to ruin themselves for 2400 bucks right before NFL. remember how damaging a no pay is to them... takes them literally years to build the brand. they know that slow pays and no pays will torpedo all that work. They won't risk that

After I spoke to the manager I emailed him my BMR post and received an email that my payouts were now unlocked and payout was submitted and processed at 9am this morning.

Big buyer aware on betnow - just stole $5K from me because they didn't want to pay out a big MLB futures ticket I had with them (low 5 figures). Cancelled all of my pending wagers (all futures) and just confiscated the stakes.

Asked them about it and said it was "line move plays" and "fraudulent". Again, these were futures bets. As you know they take down their future lines at the start of play each day/night and put them up the next morning.

I would try to get BMR involved with that. Doesn't make sense for a futures bet.

Only have about a $1K balance there and have had it just sitting there for NFL and "fall" sports since bases isn't playable there. Hope things don't continue down this path. I pulled a bunch once lines went to crap. No reason to keep funds there all summer. Word to the wise, risk mitigation with balances. No reason to leave any significant balances at most of these shops outside of BM, BO and maybe B105, although still very "new" compared to the top 2. Might incur some fees and a bit of a pain in the ass to move funds around all the time, but with a few of these that have popped up, well worth the piece of mind.

what exactly were the bets? i'm confused why they would cancel bets and confiscate the stakes before the bets were even winners

Seems like they are just cloning BOL lines, and adding more juice for baseball. Is there any reason to keep a balance here now?

I see the 2% rebate as a positive, but with such small monthly payout limits it hardly seems worth it.
