Bet105 issue resolved - regraded wager

So reup with Bet105 yesterday for 5k - deposit crypto of 5k and it is received/posted to account.

Login this morning and 5k is posted to account - check back in a few minutes ago and my balance is 3770 !! Go to their chat asking for an explanation - 15 minutes on hold and they still can’t tell me - just that the cashier deducted $1730 from my balance (24 hours after deposit posted).

No wagers in the last 4 days - just a reup in anticipation of today’s wagering. And not able to explain why the deduction and not answering chats.

Huge red flag here - actually took first payout from them a little over a week ago for like 8k - had liked them for low juice soccer lines. But yea - won’t be making that mistake again - any book that can knowingly take funds and not be able to explain who/when/why they did it is immediately questionable to me.

This will be an easy fix don’t be worried, but you do deserve a full explanation. Obviously your account was somehow hacked & they have to investigate.

It shows in the history the deduction was made today - but as I said in my PM to you - no explanation given.

Typically when there’s a manual adjustment made - it’s noted with the transaction like “manual bonus adjustment” or “player deposit discrepancy -

So the match occurred on 5/9 - and initially Humbert retired (while losing and having lost the 1st set).

By the posted rules - Bet105 incorrectly graded the wager on 5/9 - then regraded correctly today 5/14.

I have no issue with the mistake being made - mis-grades happen (especially in situations like this with a player retiring mid match) - and I give Bet105 complete credit for doing the right thing here - reversing the decision to correct a mis grade after 24 hours.

Just would have been nice to have seen an explanation as to the reason in history and have avoided this. Honestly - I did not even question the refund with the book as has bet it elsewhere as well and was also a refund. Partly my fault for not checking the rules - but who is going to check the rules on a retirement to call up the book and say “hey - you mis graded this. You were supposed to take my money” ?!? It’s a bit like being the kid who reminds the teacher they forgot to assign homework before a holiday break - no one ever speaks up when it’s to their BENEFIT- only when they have the would be winning side and last.

But good on Bet105 for making it right here. It’s basically found money for me and I’ll figure a way to do something with that. Probably take part of it and try to turn it into an additional donation to the local dog shelter - and I think it’s only reasonable to take part of that and use it to sponsor a little contest here at BMR.

They are crypto and anonymous, right? Please tell me you have a proper 2FA (Google Authenticator or similar app) enabled and you use it to log in and/or deposit/withdraw.

Not having 2FA on a book that's offshore and anonymous is a huge red flag in and of itself. That's just pure negligence...
