Is he really a legend??
Brady made him period
So called great coaches have all time great players
Coaches only as good as their players. He's still a hell of a football coach nobody was better at game planning than Belichick was during the Brady era. True he had the GOAT QB but every good coach generally had a great QB.

They already highered the new head coach, he was the inside LB coach under Belichick.

I think he played his whole career in NE too, something like 8 years...

Interesting - read that this morning.

At first I was like - why would he go to Atlanta…

Then again - you have the 8th pick in a relatively decent draft - aside from QB talent which is probably mediocre at best outside of the top 3.

You have a decent level of talent in place - it’s not a complete rebuild.

And you have an owner who will respect the coach - and who appreciates what BB would bring to his team.

They could be sitting pretty at #8 - you wait for your guy to fall to you and take the best available - either Jayden Daniels, Bowers or Nabers.

It makes sense - so that probably means it has no chance - but interesting combination of it happens - a team with no real identity and a coach capable of giving it one while showing he wasn’t the cause of the Pats falling apart. Plus plenty of vets who would love to play a couple of years for BB and live in Atlanta - close to home for a lot of players from the south.

Belichick wasting no time. Already on the job interview a week after he got fired.

I read an article where his sons have been offered to retain their positions with the Pats under our new coach. This is going to be an interesting meet-up in the future match-ups.
