For the Bettor

The problem with baseball, these managers yank the pitch too fast and it kills your wager because that’s what most of us are basing the wager offer of starting pitcher

Even worse, they start relievers, and play starters later.

It's a bit of a different cap than it used to be.

As far as "random" goes, I think they are close to the same. I don't see evidence that one has more variance than the other, but that can very much so depend on the market environment.

Short term, they go back and forth, long term, it's close to the same.

NBA has the same sort of issue as MLB as well.

Over the last few years, I remember saying this at SBR and probably heere too, the NBA has been more about capping the probability players will play as much as it is capping the games.

You never when a player will rest or play and the NBA, a few years ago, came up with a term for it: Load Management.

Load Management is corkscrew in the traditional capping process.

At least we know he's not playing.

It's those game time decisions where they sit that fukks up the traditional cappers.

Not to mention those who bought a ticket to see LeBron that night, then he sits at tip, must get pissed.

lol

Yes guessing injuries a major part of player props.

Yeah, you get what I'm saying. But it doesn't take in injury when they can pull Load Management out of their ass at any time.

It's often more about assessing the probability they will play that day.

That takes info.
