Yep word is lots of celebs and those who can afford it are building bunkers

But if the world goes to hell what happens when bad ppl discover the bunker and intentionally cover it or do something so that you can never get back out

You really need a tunnel that leads to a hidden 2nd exit/entrance like a mile away as a backup just in case

Who needs a bunker - got farmland, machinery, weapons and a stash of precious metals along with a couple hundred gallons of fuel and solar panels for power.

When shit goes South - a hole in the ground only saves you for so long. Like an ostrich - you can’t just stick your head in the dirt and ignore it forever - you need to be prepared to fend for yourself.

Just be prepared to provide for yourself, defend what’s yours and understand paper currency and crypto are going to hold no value - metals and barter will rule commerce. The rich think they can save themselves hiding - realistically a bunker is just temporary protection at best.

Worst case - if I really need to go underground- these hills around me have been mined out over a century. Not that hard to escape to a ready made underground safe house. Why spend $$ building what’s already been built for me?
