Campuses are a soft target, but generally, nothing is safe now.

Haven’t been since Kent 5/4/1970.

Or UT - Austin 8/1/1966 - forgot about that one for a moment.

People act like nutcases on a campus with a gun are a “recent” thing. Obviously Kent was never proven to be a nutcase - rather an over zealous (and likely provoked in my opinion) Guardsman - but no - it didn’t start with Trump/the popularization of AR-15s or any other thing some people will have you believe.

Unfortunately in my area college shootings pre-date Kent State.

This was the major one that shook the area, state, nation and world.
