I am a big apple guy, I use apple everything and wouldn't even think about changing. I have no idea if this is the way of the future but it is a pass for me. I am curious how many of these will sell at $3,500, I assume a ton, curious to see if this is the future but for now, not into it.

not just yet. this is just another version of the occulus rift. prime2 etc.
these products are right around the corner to be obsolete.

wait, till we have full on AR/VR integration with NO buttons. NO manual input.
and NO huge headset on ur face.

u'd have to be biologically chipped in. But that is the future.
now u can have eye wear, that does the exact same thing with NO controllers.
simple hand/finger gestures.

push that even further, oneday we will see the power of the internet simply by "thinking" them.
no need for gestures/ manual input. But at this point - scientists would've realized u can also add "extra" sensory perception to users.

The future of handheld/wearable tech. isnt better smartphones/ Tvs / AR headsets.
its better "senses" if that makes sense - The entire sensorium of a human body can be interlinked with tech. that make existing senses better / +add new senses.

any new product that didnt have an existing line of products is bound to fail.
thats just how that works.

there needs to be several iterations of said product for it to be "stable" or "optimal"
