They are expensive but they are very ugly. Many more watches better than those
I liquidated a lot of my watches. I currently own 5 watches, at one time I had 13 watches. I hate Rolex but I got these two in a trade. They are everyday wearers. My favorite is my Patek and AP.

Most are around 150-250k, there are some more expensive models. Many Pateks are way more expensive than Richard Mile.

WHY are they best in the world ? What makes them special (short of being expensive and outside of the range of the common collector) ?

I’ve said it often on many things - just because something is hyped to hell and cost way more than a normal person could pay - DOES NOT mean it’s the best.

Lots of more desirable options out there that will make you look big time and not look like a guy who buys a fake and pretends that have money. Some of which a normal mortal could even afford. Now of course nothings going to make up for your other “short comings” - but not wearing a knock off of something you clearly could not afford will make people less aware of that issue.

Short of buying yourself a jacked up pickup or ridiculous looking sports car - I know of nothing that makes a man above 40 look like they are over compensating than a fake knock off watch. Get yourself $151 and a rubber band - put a hundo over a roll of singles and pretend you’re big time - much cheaper and you’ll have something worth $150 more than that shitty knock off.
