Winning streaks can be just as bad and even worse for a better.
Keeping those aspect in check are essential.
I think many would much rather see the bankroll drop due to a series of fumbles and wrong side of the scoreboard outcomes over multiple games than seeing a sudden drop because they bet too much on one event and the shit went bad.
Then again, there's a bigger rush to the latter, and that's attractive to some whether they know it themselves or not.
