You have to be retired or unemployed to get his numbers. He’ll text play in ten minutes then he says to set up play x. Then he says go or cancel. He says cancel then sets up another play rinse repeat till he says go. A lot of anxiety it’s like a Chinese fire drill. And he has second half plays your on pins and needles.
All a shameless marketing scam

Well shit Eagles scored with 1:54 to go up 21-17 and defense let them score like a hot knife going through butter.
First bad beat of the year hopefully the only one Lol wishful thinking.

Don't know how much credence I would give to beating the closing line, that's a Justin 7 thing, too much variance IMO, Eddie, been preaching that for years in the old bettalk forum
Don't agree with that, man. If EDDIE said that...consider the source. That's just one more form of expert witness testimony. Endless circle of self-promotion.

My experience is that BTCL value is very important. It's a matter of the # on your ticket vs Closing Line. It's just math.

A guy can beat 50/50 vs closing line. But that still leaves you short of beating -110. Have to get some value on the #.

Question on 'buyback' if I may ? Nfl game involving the Steelers comes to mind last year 4.5 dogs , changed to 4 very late before post, Pitt won the game outright, I know doesn't work all the time, but is that the way to go in analysis of line movement ? Thanks in advance

My opinion that NFL lines right b4 kickoff are very tight #s. Those #s have been bet into and the money has spoken. Fair to say that the NFL lines at kickoff are close to 50/50 (usually).

I wouldn't be messing around with a half-pt just b4 kickoff. Think about it this way. How many hamburgers roll out of bed at Noon Eastern and look at the NFL lines? "Let's see who looks good?" Those guys are way too late to the party.

There is a lot of wisdom in these words people.
  • You should be tracking your plays and determining if you are beating the closing line. If you're not, you're very likely losing long-term.
  • Too much value has been "beaten" out of the line by kickoff. You're late to the show if you wait that long.

But the books have to adjust for public perception ? The look-ahead lines , and the lines after a given Sunday result, will show some slight differences, ( a blowout for example), public see this, and that team may be overpriced for the next week's game, would think closer to kickoff, value many times, (not all) would be toward the dog.....plus you got guys hitting the overnights after they are posted

Back in 2002 bettingtalk was the first forum l found. Ed was very heavy handed moderator. He deleted a thread about passing a drug test amongst other things.
