Other than myself, I know zero pro sports bettors in real life. It might be good to network. Kind of seems like it's not worth the price of admission though.

I went last year. It was very good on a lot of levels. So many people are using so many different approaches to find EV. It's great for networking and getting outs also.

The party at the Circa Legacy Club was legendary. Somehow, 100's of models appeared at the Club, all fascinated by sports betting talk. For several hours, they followed the nerds around. There was a well-organized networking session where you could target what type of people you wanted to meet, each session was about 10 minutes, maybe 15 rounds. There were four of panels with well-known names in the industry. There were some 1-hour seminars that cost extra, and the content was extraordinary. I went to the one on Blackjack and another on quant-based sport-betting, and learned more in one day than from any book I've read in the last 5 years. There were plenty of open bars, but the opportunity to meet fascinating people was mind-boggling. I met several billionaires, their wealth acquired mainly from sports betting. There were legends that changes the game, and unheard of people destroying markets in ways no one has ever heard of. It was a fantastic trip.

I'm attending the next BetBash.
