I'm surprised this line has dropped from 3 to 2.5 and even 2 at Bovada....
Seems like not many believe in the Hawkeyes.

• This game will be determined by Rutgers passing game (24th) vs Iowa pass defense (13th). Rutgers will not be able to run the ball which is OK because they are a passing team so far.
  
  
• Iowa will have to make their way on the ground, which they can do. Their passing game only improved with the easy game vs UMass last week. I think the transfer from South Dakota State (Gronowski) is still looking to get his feet under him but he is improving.

Iowa's defense is impressive. If their offense can click, they should easily cover. I'd lay the points and bet Rutgers doesn't score much.

they can run some but i do agree that they passing game did not improve like they had hoped

if you are a good qb, why not go to iowa? they always have a great defense. you can be a king and get some hot girls that are not in the big cities.

I teased them with Oklahoma State. Like Brock said, Iowa is known for defense, not offense.
Ok St has two weeks, coming off an embarrassing loss to Oregon.

Agree that Iowa is a different level - Iowa D can hang with anyone - Rutgers has been playing MAC teams - these 2 are not the same.

46’ is alot of points when the favorite gives up 10 on average. I don’t see Iowa scoring 28 myself - but don’t see them giving up 20 either.
