Finished watching Landman. I will give it a 7.3 rating. It was good but like I said the music was intrusive and mostly country I guess. I would say the same if they bombarded me with the Stones.

What do you think of Landman? I am currently watching at Season 2 Episode 2. It's not bad but not really a huge fan of country music in such large doses. Some good scenes, moves a bit slow,and of course some far fetched stuff like most series.

I just started watching it a couple weeks ago because someone on this board suggested it. I really like the 1st season and I just watched the 1st episode of the 2nd season.

I've heard it goes downhill during the 2nd season. I'll find out since I'll keep watching it.

Country Music isn't my favorite but I've grown accustomed to listening to some of the more modern Country. A lot of the Country Music in the show is really paired well with the scenes so I kind of like it. It's also more modernized and less twangy than old country.

One character I really dislike is the Mexican girl. She really has a bad attitude and they make her out to be the victim so much. The actress really isn't very good with her head movements. I've been skipping through scenes of her just to get to the next part.

Overall I pretty much like it for the power struggles but then again I used to like "Empire" for the same reason but didn't care much for the music, especially that Jussie Smullet who wavered his voice to much. I'm glad he got exposed for being a liar.

Country isn't my favorite either but I can take it and even like an occasional song here and there. I just thought the music was a little too much no matter what genre it is.
I would agree with you about the Mexican girl also. I didn't really hate her but I will have watch a bit of it again to reevaluate.
Never seen Empire . I would have to check it out sometime. Thanks for your input always welcome.
