• Having a great time partying with your buddies until 4 AM
• Winning huge at the craps table
• Getting that $2000 "escort" that will never be spoken of again.

It doesn't have to be a crap trip JJ. Most make it a fun event to remember.

And opening weekend of the tourney is different than 51 other weeks how ??

That’s Vegas every day - only difference is the last crop of losers went broke and a fresh plane load just landed.

Worse - courtesy of all the legal books across the US - every chain sports bar is now exactly the same crowd. Walk into a BW3s and your greeted by a large ad for MGM and a “bonus $20 parlay” just scan the code - table tents at every table top telling you to “get in the game”.

Why do people decide to start betting on “big events” (tourney, Ky Derby, Super Bowl) ? If you can’t make money during the season - why do you think you can do it during the popular events that draw more action - lines are sharper as more people place their wagers on it.

have gone to vegas 5x in my 20s for opening weeekend march madness

some of my best vacations and memories. I have some wild tickets that we cashed too over the years

always came out positive expcept 1 trip

Had VIP room reservations comped as well as several meals ahead of time comped.

We’re leaving Thursday morning day the tourney started and coming back Sunday around noon. Then they canceled it all.
