Like I said before the Jets still suck. They have some talented players but it's still a loser organization.

You're right. I can't see them digging their way out of the hole they've dug. Rodgers looked old and inept during the game. I know the guy has skills but its time to go.

They need to consider moving on. Not sure what that looks like but a change at QB is necessary.

Also Rogers obviously lying in recent press conferences when asked how he felt about the guy over and over. Saying there were no problems between the two, etc.

Maybe they wanted to make sure Saleh didn't make a right turn into the locker room and beat the s#it out of Rodgers (who actually made the decision to fire him)......

Not really that surprising given the present situation with yourself and JJ. I set up a music related post that Phillflyer posted a single song in. When nobody acknowledged it , he re bumped his song. After a 2nd go round of no response , he started his own music related thread ( to go with the other 7 to 8 on going threads he bumps ). No moderator combined the music related threads. Interesting

So the inside story on why Saleh got fired......
I heard this on Social Media from a person who works in the Jets organization....

On the flight home, following their loss to MIN in London Sunday morning, Saleh and a few coaches decided they needed a change on offense. They were going to replace Hackett as the offensive play caller.

Hackett was hand picked by Rodgers for that job since he has a relationship with him in the past at GB.

The team goes over the MIN game film Monday and the coaches decide, yep. Hackett can stay as O-cooridnator due to his relationship with Rodgers but, no more play calling. This decision is communicated to the GM, the Owner, and Rodgers.

Woody Johnson (the Jets Owner) talks to Rodgers about he decision and Rodgers is pissed. Its not clear if Rodgers called Johnson or vice versa. 5 minutes later Johnson calls Saleh into his office and is fired.

Anyone who doesn't think this was on Rodgers is kidding themselves.

Oh wow!! I feel sorry for Saleh, totally got blindsided in this situation. What Rogers wants, Rogers gets.

I hope he gets all the money from his contract.

Saleh will get his $$$. However Genie I am glad he got canned. He stayed with Z. Wilson too long last year. cost the NYJ the season. Time for him to go.
