This was the first of two albums in the "Josh era". Josh was the guitarist for Dark Necessities, which I vaguely remember you liking a lot. That song was on the second of the two albums

Nothing beats the albums with John as the guitarists, but there are select Josh songs I like. I really love the bass in this song. Flea really drives the band with John not there

It’s decent, I wasn’t like vibing to it hard. It’s better than the stuff they put out now, although I know you like their material even to this day. I give that song a C+ with my musical ears.

Man I didn’t go to college & only went to a handful of college parties in my lifetime definitely missed out. I wish I was a better student and I cared more when I was younger. I will see to it that my son will not be like that because I have instilled in him to be not like me. I did go to a trade school for electricians after high school.

This may be weird hearing from a college grad/someone on cusp of a master's degree:

I think the value of a college degree is a little overrated. And I honestly think trend over my lifetime will be that more value is placed in the trades.

Yeah I’m hearing that more & more as the years go by from many people. I still want my son to have every opportunity he can create for himself by utilizing a college education.
