The stupidity of people over baseballs never fails to amaze me.

Only thing worse than people killing each other over a HR ball is killing each other over a foul ball. A home run ball is at least something somewhat special - a foul ball is just a used baseball.

I don’t care who you are - unless it’s a monumental baseball - rules of etiquette for fans say any ball hit into the stands should immediately go to the nearest fan under age 12. Fact she stole a ball from a kid is bounds for banishment. Kudos to the team for making it right.
This is true.

This is what happens to older women that believe MSM and haven't been laid in a decade.

👍🍺

I could see if it was Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 home run ball, but WTF was she going to do with it? Obviously she didn’t have a kid to give it to. When she saw the dad give it to his son, that should’ve been the end of her even walking over. What a F#ckin’ C#nt!!!!!

Same shit as the moron who took the hat from a kid at the US Open.

Someone needs to identify this bitch and let the interwebs do what it does.

Once they do identify - someone please post so BMR can be sure to send its “support” to “her” virtually. Better yet - let’s have JJ pay a home visit and take a video of the interaction- I’ll be happy to chip in towards the plane ticket.

Is there a cut off though on how many feet you can leave your seat to retrieve a ball, what’s the rule of thumb at a MLB game ? The guy completely left the section of where he was sitting. Now, if I knew he was giving the ball to his son I wouldn’t have made a big deal about it & went about my business.

It’s funny - after years of going to games at municipal stadium and 3 Rivers sitting through games with a sub 5k attendance - my thought is no - no rule.

Now again, common sense/courtesy apply - if the ball lands in your lap and someone lunges over 5 rows of empty seats trying to get it from you - they are in the wrong. But in this case it appeared to be an all out scrum - best/luckiest person wins.

Like I said though - as an adult - what are you going to do with the ball ? Maybe take
It home and talk about it for a day or 2? Kid will remember this for the next 5 years until bigger things catch their attention. Let them enjoy it and develop a love for the game. This shit is why no one watches baseball anymore.

Thanks for clearing that up. I think your assessment on this matter is fair.
