Final day of the Hockey World Championship.

In the bronze medal game between the Czech Republic and the USA I would make the USA a slight favorite and thus pick them at current odds (incl OT) of around 2,00 (+100). The USA had a very intense semi-final against Finland today, but on the other hand they have a few hours more of rest than the Czechs who also have to psychologically recover from the beatdown the received in their 1-6 loss against Canada. The Czech team is way to dependent on their top players Cervenka and Pastranak. 1stPeriod USA at odds of 1,95 (2-way market) is also good IMO.

In the final between Canada and Finland I see a close game and have no preference at current odds. Finland has played a great tournament, they make very few mistakes, play as a team in the truest sense of the word, and of course are at home, so they probably deserve to be a very very slight favorite.
