I wonder why they did not test the empty shells from the very start of the investigation. it's an SOP. It could have been eliminated and dismissed the case from the start.

I was suprised it was dismissed since the extra bullets may/may not have even been involved with the event. I guess the prosecution shouldn't have made the assumption it didn't need to be included as evidence.
That's what I thought at first too. How can you blame someone for a gun that was given to him?
Then I thought if I was in that position I would never trust anyone else, but that's just me. I would look at every bullet in the gun before pointing it at someone and pulling the trigger.
This. Unfortunate, yes - but still a death occurred for that poor woman AT WORK. At the very least, some kind of insurance needs to be collected, or something? Man! Even my Dumb@$$ has ‘death & dismemberment’ payouts from my company that are automatic and I don’t pay into…..
