So would Texas knock Georgia out with a win Saturday?

Or is the SEC getting 4 teams in for sure?

What about Boise Losing to UNLV? How would that impact the rankings?

Boise at 10 in the AP rankings. To me if they lose, they drop out and either UNLV or Army squeeze in as the 12 seed.

The crazy part about that would be the B12 team would get a bye at the #4 seed in playoffs.

Yes. Army isn’t completely out of it.

They’d likely get killed but would be pretty cool. I made a lot of $$ off them this year

The fact SMU and Bosie have byes jump off the page at me under this new 12-team format

I remember now this being the set-up but still looks strange.

Could actually lead to an upset one of these teams/underdogs with rest against a blue-blood in the semis

This messes with your mind.......
The 4 likely major conference champions could all have played in a difference conference 1 year ago.

  • Big10 likely champion: Oregon (PAC-12 last year).
  • ACC likely champion: SMU (Altantic Coast Conf last year)
  • B12 likely champion: Ariz St. (PAC-12 last year)
  • SEC likely champion: Texaxs (B12 last year)
