A few NASCAR bets this weekend (Texas Motor Speedway)

After an incredible April I’ve had a steady week, winning an average of about $100 per day

Already cashed out $275 this week but left some in to make my nascar plays

I’ve really been doing well in the lower series (trucks and Xfinity) and luckily I got a couple of nice parlays through when the Avs (first leg) made their comeback last night

Also Kyle Larson is running in Xfinity again replacing Conor Zilich (injured last week at Dega) in the Dale Jr Racing #88 car. Anytime Larson races in the lower series he’ll be favored

I have:

Avs/Heim to win trucks tonight/Larson to win Xfinity - pays $760

Avs/Hocevar to win trucks/Larson to win Xfinity - pays $590

Also in trucks a little straight bet on Nick Sanchez to win - pays $233

Also in Xfinity a straight bet on Allgaier to win - pays $385

And in Xfinity straight bet Mayer to win - pays $220

That’s all - total risked about $220

I don’t bet Sundays as much

That new Gen 7 car they use just isn’t as exciting as the lower series

Not much passing with the car

Last week at Talledega perfect example

Watch the end of the Xfinity race compared to the end of the NASCAR race

Xfinity race was so exciting with a photo finish and the wrecks and carnage you’d expect from Talledega

NASCAR in the final two laps no one even made a move from either of the two lines for the win. It was just a race with the two guys at the front of the inside and outside lines for the win

Hopefully they’ll ditch the Gen 7 car on Sundays soon

So with Nascar you had a chance to win if you had one of the leaders . No chance for our guy in 4th for passing so he has no shot. That sucks. Xfinity racing that's the fun part of racing. The wrecks the passing the carnage.

Yeah luckily I had Cindric last week with a small bet to win and he won, nosing out the other guy at the front of the line up top

But in year’s past before they changed the car people would have made moves from second, third, etc to try and pass for the lead on the final lap. They just aren’t able to do it much with the design and aerodynamics of this Gen 7 car

I definitely watch Sam. Trucks races are on FoxSports1, Xfinity are on the CW Network this year, and the big boys Cup on Sunday is on Fox first half of the season and NBC second half

Before I’d just share them with him pre-race because I knew he liked to follow along

I have a superstition about posting plays and them losing much like Patty V but I’ve gotten over that to some extent this year

I definitely usually post all my golf majors picks (Rory masters) and a lot more overall these days

Came real close to driving up to the races this weekend in Dallas but family stuff made be steer away from pulling the trigger

Glad I didn’t. Raining like hell between here and Dallas and I’d have been caught up in it. Absolutely hate driving in the rain

Should clear up by late afternoon. Trucks may be delayed a bit starting but Saturday and Sunday look great

That's me kind of. Most but not all gamblers have some type of superstition. Of why we do what we do and how we go about our business.
