There's only one Italy and it's time for Serie A Calcio once again. First bet of the year and it's a 3 team parlay. I'm in the USA so using FanDuel and/or DraftKings. The goal here is to start small and grow the bankroll as the season goes. Easier said than done, right? It's good to have a firm grasp of the league to begin. Luckily for me, I am a Serie A addict. Here's to good fortune to you all, and especially for me lol.

Inter Milan -210
AC Milan -165
Napoli -135

Parlay +312

Inter is by far the strongest team in Italy and the reigning and defending Champions. I expect them to repeat as a Champions this year though not as easily as they won last season.

AC Milan arrives this season with a new coach in Paulo Fonseca and high expectations. I expect them to finish in the top 4 but I can't see them challenging Inter with any real certainty.

Napoli is another club who arrives with a new coach, a familiar face in the Serie A, Antonio Conte. He is, by any standard, a brilliant coach, and I expect this team to be Inter's main antagonist this season. He will be looking to bring back Napoli from a disappointing campaign last season and he always gets results.

Fukkin sick to my stomach. Inter had the game until the last minute when the ref awarded a penalty to Genoa. Tie game. Unbelievable. Sick.

Thinking about this game, something isn't right. Inter got two goals taken off them. So fukkin pissed right now at the result. This wasn't supposed to happen.

Inter looked off the whole game. Bisseck sucked, DiMarco sucked, Acerbi sucked, Mkhitaryan sucked, Calhanoglu sucked.

Fukkin strange shit happened today.

And now Milan tied 2-2. So two very unexpected starts to the season.

Will have to re-evaluate for next week. This can't keep up for long.

Yeah so this start to the season is going to require a complete re-evaluation for this season.

4 opening matches all ending in a tie and then Napoli gets destroyed on Conte's debut as Napoli coach.

Shit has officially gone sideways. Already.

Ok We are locked in with...

Atalanta +130

I'm going old school South Philly/East Coast Street style with this play.

I'm going with an IF bet with this. So...

Atalanta +130

IF WIN

Juventus -160

It's going to be a long season and we're just starting. Lots of time to catch up!

So you're an Inter Milan fan?

Also, good luck on Atalanta and Juventus pending bets.
Yes. I am Inter retard. Love them to the death. There's only one team I put above all others on this earth.
.
The Italian National Soccer team.
.
Even the Flyers and Raiders are below them for me.

Thanks for the well wishes, Genie. It is a long season and I do expect to be holding profit fairly quickly if my reads in the league are correct which they usually are.

Now I am curious why Inter Milan? I have a friend who is also a fan of theirs because of the player Álvaro Recoba and the history and reason of the team's creation.

LOL I'm glad you aren't here at my social club in South Philly when you said that because you'd stir up a hornets nest with that question 🤣 😂 🤣

I'm Italian and grew up an Inter fan from my father who was also an Inter fan.

The reason that your comment would cause controversy here is because we are southern Italian and Inter is a northern team.

So, I'm Sicilian and Napolitano or in english Neapolitan which is the city of Napoli or Naples.

Traditionally, we root for our hometown teams, like here. So catching a southern Italian rooting for a northern team like Inter can be tricky lol.

I get my balls broke constantly from my friends in the social club even the old men break my balls about it lol.

It is what it is. I love Inter.

Alvaro Recoba is an Inter legend, Genie. One of my all time favs no doubt. Your friend has excellent taste.

Inter was created out of the separation from AC Milan. At that time, over 100 years ago, AC Milan wanted only Italian players.

Well, half of their management disagreed and wanted to bring in foreign players. So they split and formed Internazionale or Inter Milan with the purpose of being an international club, hence the name.

My opinion on that split is difficult for me. Yes, the decision to bring in foreign players was the correct one at that time.

However, after a century of witnessing the effects of it through the lens of time, I think the system has run it's course.

So, as an example of bringing in foreign players, the effect of it has been that national teams, like France for example, have players from Africa who don't have a single drop of French blood in them, getting automatic citizenship and being placed on their national team leaving no room whatsoever for natural citizens i.e. actual French people.

Aww, you stand for the team you love. Who cares about them..lol

Oh wow! glad to know we have another Italian blood here aside from LTProfits.

"Inter was created out of the separation from AC Milan. At that time, over 100 years ago, AC Milan wanted only Italian players." --> Haha, yes, this is exactly what he said.

And the last part, yes. looks like a known issue now in soccer. The naturalization of players to secure their perfect game plan.
