The 1st time I recall betting was in 1976 in H.S. Boxing mostly. $5 was a standard amt

Soccer started in 1982 World Cup. So it would be 41 years for me

When the card isn't too big , or I narrow my search , its a 5 step process

Falshscore for past results , injuries , standings etc
Transfermkt for team financial values
Predictions on the game with write ups ( Sports mole , Sportskeeda , LeagueLane etc )
Weather at gametime
Post my play if all 4 are in sync with my initial play

Problems with that process :

Wife
Kids
Grandkids
Daily routines
Emails & Texts replies

Way too may games on a daily basis to bet soccer properly. Im proof of that. I need to narrow my focus to 3 or 4 leagues and pass on all the other lower leagues. Even then , you cant cap " Red Cards " and VAR decisions....... in the end its very tough to win on soccer over a period of time. I know I'm a sucker chasing a hopeless dream , but I just love the game way too much

Funny you mention the year 1982, that was the year I was born. Your handicapping methods are very similar to what I use when I decide a potential winner although I do not bet in volume.
