I really hate long-term props. I know, they can payoff well but, I just hate waiting on the return.

Also, if anyone makes these plays, keep in mind at some books your rollover won't clear until these plays are settled.
I had a future wager on the Rams to win the Super bowl I placed in a week three or four the year Kurt Warner and The greatest show on Earth burst on the scene and shocked everyone

It was the best thing ever following that team the rest of the year and rooting for them and it paid off big time cashing the ticket (although I had to go back to Vegas to cash it in)

The problem was my Tampa Bay buccaneers faced them in the NFC championship so I was torn

But it's great to have a few wagers that last entire season it gives you something to follow the entire season

Before anyone goes putting a small figure on a future like this, know your sportsbook's rules. What most don't know is that you can be fvcking up your chances at getting reload bonuses for 4-5 months because you have a pending wager on a dumb guaranteed prop. Many books will give you these gimmies than you are screwed. One book had as a Xmas bonus I think or Super bowl bonus that you could put $25 on the Super bowl winner to score 1 point in their 1st game the next year $25. Those dopes that did will get there 25 back plus the 25 win but didn't get any reload bonuses all spring and fall.

Here was that promo:

Guaranteed Winning Wager

This season might be ending, but we’re guaranteeing you’ll start next season with a winning wager. Will the winner of Super Bowl LVI score 1 point in Week 1 next September? Yes! Bet it in our Odds Boosters section.

My advice:
Sign-up for a book that has good odds but that you will mostly use just for futures. Get a decent bonus on that new sign-up and use the cash bonus on a future. Keep your best books that give the best bonuses for your regular weekly action so you continue to get those bonuses all season long. Always take the bonus. Don't fear the roll-over.

i dont like long-term either, just something about them and thats why im like eh.
I hear ye Le but...

Having money "tied up" is so over-critiqued

1 wager gives you something to follow all season long

It's actually a positive, not a negative

And besides look at it this way...

If you could deposit $10 in the bank and they told you in 5 months they would pay you back $50, wouldn't we all do it?

Although nothing is guaranteed in sports betting, if a bet has value and winnable, you can look at it the same way

thats honestly a great way to look at it, from the positive stand point. i guess when it comes to money i get impatient sometimes 😂 but youre right it gives you something to follow and root for all season
