Chelsea have a number of players on the injury list , in addition to some questionable players who are still on the mend. Chelsea have not scored a single goal in their last 3 ( 2 @ home to Liverpool ( 0 - 0 ) and A. Villa ( 0 - 2 ) and a 1 - 0 road loss @ Wolves ). Its a huge step up from losing to EPL mid table teams and travelling to play a healthy Madrid side.

I am extremely biased as it relates to my beloved Bayern. That said , i think the line is highly overstated. Bayern just fired their coach recently ( No idea why ) and the new coach was a Chelsea cast off. As for injuries , Bayern are without striker Chopa Moateng , but have a deep pool to choose from ( Coman , Gnabry , Mueller , Musiala , Mane.... ).
I see Bayern money line as high as 5.60

I backed them on a few small parlays today

I fully understand the reason for the Man City love.

Just listening to the 4 English commentators , provided to CBS for the Bayern / City game. And i quote " City will certainly carry the game to Bayern , who will sit back and hope for counter opportunities "

Fair to say that they are in for a bit of a surprise today.

Much respect for both these sides. There are no easy teams anymore. Its the best of the best. I will just say that i would rather have the midfield of Kimmich , Goretzka , Coman , Musiala and Sane over Silva , De Bruyne , Gundogen , Grealish , Rodri and Stones.
