This is part of the Field of 68 Opening Day Showcase.

There are three games in the Sanford Pentagon which is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The aim here is to matchup the better teams outside the mainstream top power conferences and teams.

Field of 68 is a media network for college hoops. Should be able to see the game on the Youtube channel or their twitter feed.

The ESPN scoreboard shows the later two games being on Youtube but not the first game, not sure why.

The three games are

Charelston/S. Ill
St Louis/Santa Clara
McNeese/South Dakota St

This should be a treemendous event.

Of the three games at the Sanford Pentagon, I'd say Santa Clara -2 might represent the best value.

Might.

Not sure why they're only a 2 point favorite, and I have to believe if there was any real volume here the books would either be taking a position or moving that line. It opened low, and barely moved.

As it is, they might be taking a position on St. Louis, or exposing themselves to get burned.

When the line does move, if under some volume, St. Louis could be a good candidate to pick up on the growing dog moneyline in order to sell back LIVE after they take the lead early.

But let's see how this trades early tomorrow.

Santa Clara line dropping back to the early open of 1.5.

This looks to be a classic across the board reverse line move but the real question is why the market would blink when it did.

And the answer is volume. There ain't much right now.

These first two games in Sioux Falls are commanding the college basketball market though, along with the Texas A&M /C. Florida game.

Kentucky and Bama both playing tomorrow, and they basically round out the top 5 volume getters so far.

Let's see if that trend holds.

There could be Contrarian Fund action already with the make up of the current market bleeding into tomorrow.
