WITH THE FIRST PICK IN THE 2025 NFL DRAFT, THE LAS VEGAS RAIDERS SELECT....

SHEDEUR SANDERS QUARTERBACK COLORADO
Yes you are probably right as long as they keep the #1 slot

The NY Giants will gladly take Cam Ward or Sanders at #2 whichever the Raiders leave

Very possible that the Jets or Browns offer the too much to trade up and hard for Raiders or Giants to turn down

Raiders remaining schedule
Jaguars
@Saints
Chargers

Giants remaining schedule
@Falcons
Colts
@Eagles

Browns remaining schedule
@Bengals
Dolphins
@Ravens
Of these 3 games each I see:
  • NYG losing all of them
  • Browns losing all of them
  • Raiders - if they try they cold beat JAX. That will be the turning point for the draft. We'll know this week if they are actually going to tank for the draft pick.

Doesn’t matter where the Browns draft - they will screw it up.

They will also dangle a huge amount of cash to lure some mid level free agent to Cleveland - only to cut him by week 9 and faulting him for the fact the O line cant hold anyone back.

Garrett has already says he wants to play for a winner - and wants to know who the QB will be in 2025 - whether it’s going to be DTR or if they are bringing someone else in. Notice who he DIDNT mention in the QB conversation.

So the first two are playing against teams with no reason to work hard.

BUF @ NE (Bills W/L means nothing in terms of playoff seeds).
HOU @ TEN (Same for Texans)
CLE @BAL (BAL has a reason to win).

So do the Bills and Texans ease up against Pats/Titans and let the Browns sneak into the top spot?

Nightmare scenario for fans who are hoping for a huge ray of light at the end of the tunnel and hope for the future

I've been thru it many times in the past with Tampa Bay and them winning meaningless games late to screw up their draft position

Some will say as a fan you always root for your team to win

Not true

There's being a fan and there's being a realist and when you have a chance to pick high and improve your team, that is what you root for

If there are football gods there is just no way Cleveland can be rewarded with the number 1 pick after the mess they have put together.

Patriots or Giants which organization more foolish
See no issue with the pats winning that game, they have their qb. Sure you can always in theory land a haul by being at #1 but when you have the most money in free agency you don't lure guys in by trying to lose games, start creating a winning culture. Don't be shocked if they are a playoff team next year after adding talent on offense, which they can absolutely still do drafting at #4.

The Giants are chasing the Jets for the shame of the NFL at this rate. The GM seems like a total clown and the owner just acts like he knows what's happening. If they don't clean house they are doomed.
