I agree with your take. The person just voiced their opinion to Wager and that is it. I do not think the issue presented is a big one on this site even though the poster thinks it might be.

If they don't like how others post, they are free to look elsewhere or, better yet, they can just participate in the threads they like.

In general, I view it as being here just to have fun while discussing sports/betting.

Understand that I have no ill will towards this guy, he should post more often if he thinks he has ideas for improvement.

Or, at the very least, highlight the fading gems of threads and tell us why he thinks so.
