Has Notre Dame turned it around lately? I was thinking about Syracuse -1.5.
I was leaning Syr with Bubbles on them but I think this is really going to be a tough game.

I see Syracuse usually covers well at home (hell they are 6-1 ATS overall this season), they've played great football lately (beat NC St. and barely lost to Clemson on the road).

ND is up and down. Sure they were good last week vs a weak UNLV team but they lost to Stanford the prior week and barely beat a really bad BYU team the week before that.

I think I just talked myself into a Syracuse ML play.

great start of ws last night. congrats to all the winners and let's start wining today. these are my top picks so far.

syracuse -1.5
ohio State -15.5
tcu -7.5
tennessee - -12.5
GL Bubbles. I'm with you on Syr (went ML) and Ohio St. which should be a massacre (I hope). I'm on Kentucky though in the later game. I just think 12.5 is too steep.

Illinois -7 but hook
California +17
Illinois
I think Illinois (5-2 ATS) will easily handle Nebraska on the road. Nebraska just sucks (2-5 ATS).

Think about this for a minute. If Illinois had not lost their Week 2 game to Indiana, they'd be top 10 team in discussions with Mich and Ohio St for BCS. This team is pretty damn good.

I am only hesistant to commit to Illinois because I'm thinking Nebraska may decide at some point to get through the 7 stages of grief that this season has brought them and try to recoer some semblance of a good team.

California
Would love to hear why you're on Cal +17. They are not very good. Their rush D (best part of their team) may hinder Oreg on the ground a little today but their pass D will still give up the plays. 2.5 TD spread seems about right to me. What am I missing?

Couple of guys on Oklahoma -1.5 at ISU. Here's my take.

I've seen ISU play (in person at Ames) and their offense is bad (or was bad until they played Texas). ISU is all about their defense (top 15 in the country). Their offense is horrendous. They can occassionally pass the ball (Dekkers is so-so at QB) but they cannot run the ball (120th in rush offense). This puts more pressure on their passing game and frankly Dekker is hit or miss week to week. Defense will have to keep OU under 24 to have a chance.

OU is bad as well, for OU standards. The only decent team they've beated is Kansas but that was when the Jayhawks were without their all-american QB. Otherwise OU has been curb stomped by Texas and TCU.

I'd lean ISU in this one. ISU fans will be pumped up to let OU hear it for leaving the Big 12. That might be the momentum to get a win.

Yeah, I agree about Cal. They are not good and they couldn't even cover against ND when ND was playing really bad. Shhh... but their my team but I wouldn't even trust them ATS against Ducks who will want to run up the score trying to impress being the best 1 loss team after Alabama.
