Yeah, for me playing the ponies is like playing golfers I don’t invest too much money or time into that market. Not saying that it’s impossible, but I like to gamble on something close to a 50-50 proposition.

I was mainly talking to @JDS . I know you’re experienced with ins and outs of horses River. But for someone newish to the sport, the rush can be alluring but the losses can definitely add up fast.

agreed. the horses a complex game. if new to the game play my advice is to play real small. If you learn the ins and outs like how to read a form and a lot of other things then you can progress. but overall the rake a killer but playing tourneys helps mitigate that. THX

yea as someone that lives 20 minutes from Saratoga, i like going up there 2-3-4x during the summer. but I don't daily bet horses
