So if you are behind going into the last day the picks can be posted 1 at a time through a mod? But if you are ahead you must post them all in 1 thread? Is that so i dont take the same pick as him? Dont understand the reasoning as early in week you can take same pick as other guy.....

I have not copied any of your plays all week and many days you have posted before me..... I obviously could just about figure out who i would assume you are picking today. You need to make up 5.90 units i think? So it would have to be a combination of Angels, Colorado, pitts, Baltimore,KC Arizona or Oakland.

Yeah I'm pretty much 100% not going to catch you, that's not in question. Just as I said, I don't think it's in the spirit of the contest for folks to change their picks based on knowing what their opponent has picked - it should be totally independent of that.

I for instance could have in Round 1 just picked the same as my opponent on the last day (he posted publicly well before the game started) in order to 100% lock up the win, but I didn't since to me that wasn't in the spirit of the contest.

Once the 1st person does(you or him) than it doesn't matter as picks cannot be changed. Also, you are only allowed 1 fade/same per day and only 3 for the whole week. So whether on purpose or not it pays to turn your pick in so you get what you want those last 2 days. This is match play and not a best bets contest so playing the same or fading during the week especially the last day is an expectable strategy.

When you turn your picks in it don't matter if you are accidently on the same or against. Just like golf match play. Do what you have to do to advance

you sound mad? How many coins did you have on Arunsh to bet me anyway? You made the rules and now its lame that you have to wait around for my picks? Dont you get paid to be here? Dont take it personal i am just trying to play by the rules and win. It’s about as lame as the big baller coins having to be used in round 1..... you said it was in rules and well i guess i lost out for not playing anything in round 1.... so i am just playing by the rules now....

Anyways in the spirit of the contest. LOL i will post my plays right now, and i know ARUNSH did not take any of these plays as it wouldn’t help him beat me if he did.... good luck

What is lame is when you draw conclusions that are untrue. The rules have been the same for everyone and are posted in the 1st post of each thread.

Giants O8.5 -118 (Heritage)
Royals O9.5 -105 (Bookmaker)

I was about to post my picks (now that you posted yours), but Enikk beat me to it!

Yes, the picks I made I knew I could not beat you if you chose to not pick at all (which is why I don't think that information should be made available, each person should pick independently of knowing what other person picked imo, but I understand there are issues with that).

I figured my best chance was to go with the picks I wanted, hoped that you as usual picked some heavy chalk picks and would have a bad day. If your picks win (heavy chalk or not), I was toast no matter what so I felt like that was the best thing I could try.

Ok, I'm now 8 - 8 - 1, -0.84 with Cardinals over pending

NBW is 12 - 7, +1.49 with Yankees over and Cardinals $ line pending.

Pretty simple. If either of his picks wins, or my pick loses he takes it. Only way I win is if my pick wins and both of his lose (I think if my pick wins, Yankees ties, and his other pick loses he will beat me by 0.17 to 0.16 - crazy).

So yeah that's what it comes down to. Would be kind of nice if Yankees over lost - would certainly make tonight's game a bit of a sweat potentially!

Finished 9 - 8 - 1, +0.16, glad I finished with positive units after starting 0 - 6 lol. Unfortunately that put me in too much of a hole to climb out, though I pulled out the clutch 3 - 0 again on the last day, just didn't manage to win it for me this time!
