I think they are saying there was only 1 person behind the goal scorer. It wasn't the goalie. It was a defender. Since there was only 1 person behind him, its offsides.

I was thinking the same thing but I guess not due to group stage's goal differential might come into play. But it would be great if they had it in elimination games. For example, in this game it's been over and many players are getting injured so just end the damn game.

The differential in talent between these teams is incredible.
