I won a little Money last week in the NFL (yes I am surprised too) so I thought I’d have a contest for BMR posters to participate in. Yes, I am forcing you to learn more about the lesser conferences (Sun Belt, Conf USA, MAC) by creating a contest for games during the week.......

RULES:
  1. 8 week contest from Oct 3rd through Nov 22nd (It ends before the week of Thanksgiving.)
  2. You pick 4 games ATS each week. No totals. Only Spreads. Try not to miss a week of picks since it will hurt your chances but, not eliminate you from the contest. Note: The total number of picks made is the 1st Tie-Breaker so you should try to get 4 picks in every week.
  3. The spreads to use when making picks will be posted in the thread on Monday or Tuesday morning. They will not change during the week.
  4. You do not need to make all 4 picks in one post each week but you must make your picks before the game starts or the pick is DQ'd.
  5. Once picks are submitted, you cannot change your picks unless a game has been cancelled.
  6. The number of games available to choose from each week varies from 6 to 11 games. Typically 9, 10, or 11 games.
  7. If a game is cancelled or rescheduled, you can pick a replacement game from the available games listed for the same week. If no replacement games are available, you miss that pick.
  8. A game must go the entire 60 minutes + OT and/or be completed during the Tues-Fri of the week it was originally scheduled in order to count in your total wins. If a game does not go the entire scheduled time + OT, it is eliminated from the list and you can pick a different game from the same week if any game are still available.
  9. Do not edit your picks. Editing = DQ'd.
  10. The list of games available may be adjusted when/if CFB scheduling changes. Only Tues-Fri games will be considered and only the games in which spreads are posted in this thread can be used.
  11. A push is equivalent to a loss. We are only counting winning picks.
  12. You may post or PM me your picks for Week 8.
WINNERS:
The posters with the most correct selections out of the scheduled 74 games (max possible 32 wins) will be the winner.

1st Place $200
2nd Place $100
3rd Place $50

TIE-BREAKERS:
1st Tie=breaker. The most total picks including pushes. E.g. 20-10-2 (62.5%) beats someone with 20-9-2 (64.5%) even though the win% is higher on the latter record. We want poster making the full count of picks (32) in the contest.

2nd Tie-breaker. During WEEK 8, you must provide your guess for the total points scored in each of the following games. If you do not provide total points, you will be eliminated when considering tie-breaker positions. You can be under or over the actual total. Only the delta from the total will count. We will step through each tie-breaker one by one (dropping posters out as we go) until a winner is determined.

Purdue/Mich St.
Temple/UTSA
UNLV/San Jose St.

1. Closest to the total points scored in the Purdue/Michigan game (Friday Nov 22nd).
2. Closest to the total points scored in the Temple/UTSA game (Friday Nov 22nd).
3. Closest to the total points scored in the UNLV/San Jose St. game (Friday Nov 22nd).
In the unlikely event there is still a tie after applying all 3 tie-breakers, the pot will be split accordingly.
