Can we please treat today as a usual doubleheader? I really want to take Crochet in this spot, and if I don't, next time he pitches will probably be too late.

Can we ignore the first four pitches thrown and allow picks on both Rangers and White Sox on BOTH games today, first starting at 5pm? (UNLESS IT RAINS OUT AGAIN LOL)

Crochet is the Sox' best chance for a win, especially in a weird spot like today. Chances are @BigJay wins it, if this 5pm 'Game 1' (notice the quote marks) is OFF the board. He seems to be highest-ranked player who already has CWS crossed off.

I'm going to have to say no.

The reason is that some people have already made their plays for today and would not have had the opportunity to pick the CHW if I opened that door now. Sure, we could give them a chance to change their picks but that would cause even more problems since not all of them would see this "change" before the game started. So we can't really do that.

I realize this isn't the greatest situtation but, I can't see modifying the rules now without causing even more issues.

Not that it makes a difference but, its interesting as LT pointed out in another thread, most of the major books cancelled any bets on that game.

Vegas standard is refund since game did not go five innings on date scheduled, so books that adhere to Vegas Standard (i.e. Heritage for sure and I think BetOnline) gave refunds. Bookmaker requires game completed on date scheduled so also refunded. However, there are now many books with their own house rules for this, so check rules at your particular book.
