Gotta let it go LG if their's no way to get back at him. When I first started gambling in 1998, I used to call those 1-800 free pick #s not knowing any better. Long story short, I got scammed out of 10k by 1 of those slick talking scamdicappers convincing me he had inside info on ghetto ass college players fixing point spreads. Literally sent him a 10k MG or WU (forget which) & that was all the I had saved up from yrs of delivering the morning paper. I remember being on serious tilt after an initial hot streak so I took the bait. Obv he was full of shit & his picks were horrible & he even tried to get me to send him another 10k telling me "man up, shit happens, put on your big boy pants, I'll win you your money back but I'm gonna need another 10k" At that point I just wanted to kill him, but eventually realized I have no one to blame but myself & let it go. If I could get a bunch of suckers to send me 10k like him promising "inside info"..I'd do the exact same thing.

Guy totally thought he had me where he wanted obviously and said the free service was over and now he had the “top shelf” picks for $300 for a week. $300 was a lot to me then. I was only betting $50-100 per game.

Sent him the WU $300 that evening. He gave me three “top shelf” picks and of course he goes 0-for-3.

I called WU later that night and thankfully the idiot hadn’t picked up my $$. Canceled the transfer and went and picked my $$ up. Guy called non-stop for a couple of weeks.
