i cut corners more as i get older, especially if what i am doing is not as "valuable" as perceived.

here is a universal example in general terms.

ex) someone might deem Job A as being worth $500. i think it should be $700. therefore, i am only giving them $500 worth of effort/work.

the above example happens with time, effort, who i am seeing etc. just change the money to an equally valuable resource (love, respect, fun).

I prefer the term life hacks, hacker just sounds messy & untrustworthy.
